Artwork
Requirements
The exhibition is printed and hung in a gallery. These are the conditions that let a file survive that.
What we accept
- Original authorship. Only works created by you, or by you as a credited co-author, with the right to submit the image for exhibition.
- An artistic idea. Each work must read as an independent artistic statement — concept, composition, visual expressiveness.
- A clean presentation. No logos, watermarks, promotional text, brand names, borders, collages or text overlays.
- Exhibition-grade quality. Sharp, well lit, professionally captured, free of noise and visible defects.
- A short description. A few lines on the idea, the concept and how the piece was executed.
What we decline
- Commercial advertising images
- Salon or client photos without an artistic concept
- Before-and-after images
- Educational, technical or demonstration material
- Low-quality photographs and screenshots
- Files carrying logos, signatures, frames or promotional inserts
The organizer may request a replacement image or a higher-resolution original, and makes the final decision on inclusion.

Can I still apply for the Paris edition?
No. Registration for the Paris edition closed on September 15. Follow @beautyisart.exhibition to hear about the next open call first.
I have applied. When will I hear back?
The curator is reviewing every submission. Each applicant will be contacted personally about the result.
Do selected artists need to travel to Paris?
No. Participation is fully remote. Printing, framing, installation in the gallery and documentation are handled by us. You are welcome to come, but nothing depends on it.
